Dr. Alessandra Buhler Borges is Full Professor at Sao Paulo State University - UNESP, in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil.
She holds a dentist degree and obtained her MS and PhD in Operative Dentistry from the Sao Paulo State University.
Dr. Borges is a specialist in Operative Dentistry and Public Health and completed a postdoctoral program at the Oral Health Institute Indiana University School of Dentistry, USA.
Her academic responsibilities include teaching Operative Dentistry at undergraduate and graduate levels.
She is author of three books, and five book chapters, and published more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, in cooperation with researchers from different universities around the world.
Her main research interests include tooth demineralization (erosion and caries), resin infiltration, dental bleaching, and bioactive restorative materials.
Erik-Jan Muts, M.Sc.
Prosthodontist (Fellow of EPA)
Erik-Jan Muts (M.Sc.) graduated from the State University in Groningen (The Netherlands) in 2013 and became a recognized prosthodontist in 2023 (Fellow of EPA).
He specializes in esthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, running his own private clinic MP3 Tandartsen in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.
Erik-Jan co-founded KARMA Dentistry and recently published his book 'Infiltration in Daily Practice'.

Whether it’s rehabilitating toothwear with composites or crafting new smiles in porcelain, his artisanal dentistry and meticulous patience in this art attract an audience seeking contemporary cosmetic and functional solutions.
He practices private cosmetic dentistry at his clinic, the a.b.c. smile, in central London, UK.
