Description

This webinar will cover the fundamental principles of dental trauma management, including general recommendations to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You’ll learn the IADT classification of luxation injuries and discover evidence-based treatment guidelines for each category. 
The webinar will also provide practical advice on stabilizing traumatised teeth-highlighting splinting techniques and recommendations for the most effective splints. Tooth avulsion, one of the most challenging dental emergencies, will be addressed with strategies for successful management. 
To reinforce learning, each topic will be illustrated with real clinical examples and thorough documentation at every step. Enhance your trauma care skills and stay updated with best practices in dental injury management.

Speakers

Marina Papachroni graduated in 1995 from the Dental School of the University of Athens. She completed a three-year post-graduate program and received her Pediatric Dentistry Specialisation Certificate in 1999 and a two-year Master’s Degree in Dental Materials in 2001 from the same University. Thereafter, she has attended numerous Congresses, Courses and Continuing Education Programs.

She was the Treasurer and one of the foundation members of the Hellenic Academy of Clinical Dentistry until 2021 and a member of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Dentistry and International Association of Pediatric Dentistry. Also she was a member of the Public Relations Committee of the IAPD. She was a non-paid instructor of the Postgraduate Clinic of Pediatric Dentistry Department of Athens University. Lately she lectures in different topics of Pediatric Dentistry’s field worldwide.

From 2023 she is IAPD Board Member and Chairperson of Public Relations Committee. Dr. Papachroni maintains from 2000, her private practice in Patras, Greece, with emphasis on Aesthetic and Microscopic Pediatric Dentistry.
