PD Dr Michael Wicht will start things off on 23 May with “Asking the right questions: Motivational interviewing in preventive dentistry”. In this interactive seminar for the entire dental team, the characteristic features of “motivational interviewing” will be explained and illustrated with real examples from the dental clinic world. Questioning techniques for recognising ambivalence and willingness, or confidence in a change in behaviour, will form key aspects of the webinar.

Two days later, we welcome PD Dr Michael Wicht again, this time in German with Part 2 of “How do I motivate my patients? – Partnership-based caries pre-vention in the dental clinic”. Following on from Part 1, which took place in January and focused on oral hygiene at home, we now turn our attention to developing an effective prevention concept in a dental clinic setting. This webinar will show you how to define goals together and promote individual oral health skills.
