Free online seminar with a live demo on digital workflows.

As previously reported, the third annual Interdentale symposium has been postponed until next year due to the current coronavirus pandemic. The Interdentale is a symposium for young (mainly German-speaking) dentists, initiated by DMG and supported by numerous renowned partners in the dental industry.

Despite the postponement, a light Interdentale breeze is already blowing this year: DMG is offering a special program highlight – a free online seminar – which, for the first time, will be held in English to accommodate an international audience.

Friday, 30th of October, from 3:00 PM to 6 PM (CEST)

Digital workflows in dental practice and dental laboratory

Artificial intelligence in dentistry - paradigm shift or hype?

Learning algorithms and intelligent systems are disruptive technologies that have the potential to bring about a paradigm shift in (dental) medicine. This lecture highlights the application of artificial intelligence in dentistry and discusses its opportunities and risks. Paradigm shift or hype - let's venture a look!

Digital workflows in dental practice and dental laboratory

Both dental practice and dental laboratory are becoming increasingly digital. Using the example of a bite splint, Dr. Ingo Baresel and Fabian Oberhofer will demonstrate in this webinar how digital technologies can be used to perfect collaboration dynamically and independently of location. The entire digital workflow is presented. A patient is scanned live intraorally, the scan data is processed in the award-winning software DMG DentaMile connect and a splint is printed. Finally, this splint is inserted live on the patient.

The course is evaluated with 4 CE credits.

The course corresponds to the current guidelines for continuing dental education of KZBV, BZÄK and DGZMK and the credit evaluation of continuing education of BZÄK and DGZMK
