LuxaCam PEEK

LuxaCam PEEK is your CAD/CAM material specialist for particularly comfortable framework constructions for long-term use. The lightweight and versatile high-performance resin is made up of 80 % polyether ether ketone and its excellent mechanical properties are impressive. It is also exceptionally biocompatible. The tooth-colored, metal-free LuxaCam PEEK blanks offer long-term reliability for a large variety of dental restorations, whether for creating crown frameworks or implant superstructures, in the anterior or posterior regions, semi-permanent or removable.

New possibilities with blocks entirely made of PEEK

For the optimum machining of milling blanks, DMG’s new PEEK blocks are intentionally made without the metal posts usually present to fix the material during the process. Instead, the fixing posts are also fabricated from PEEK, so that it is impossible for the block to come loose from the shaft during machining. This provides maximum safety and increases cost effectiveness and material efficiency. You can thus benefit from the advantages of LuxaCam PEEK with even greater efficiency.

Biocompatible, comfortable wearing

A decisive advantage of LuxaCam PEEK is its excellent biocompatibility. Blanks are free from metal and monomers and are thus particularly well suited for allergy sufferers.
The composition of the material is toxicologically harmless and its low thermal conductivity protects the healthy tooth substance. Another benefit: Constructions made with LuxaCam PEEK are not only neutral in taste and smell, but also pleasantly lightweight.

Reliably stable

LuxaCam PEEK is reliable: The material is created for long-term use and therefore also correspondingly stable. Its good flexural strength and reliable fracture toughness support long-term stability as well. The material is also extremely abrasion-resistant.

With a suitable temporary cement or glass ionomer cement in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.

Pre-treatment with suitable primers (e.g. Luxatemp-Glaze & Bond) and luting in conjunction with a dual or self-curing luting composite.
