Claudia Ungar normally works in sales at the dental product manufacturer DMG in Hamburg. In February, however, she swapped her company car and German dental practices for some improvised jobs out in the wilds and almost 4,000 miles from home. The qualified dental assistant traveled with the Dentists for Africa organization to Kaplamboi in Kenya. Her goal was to help others and learn something herself.
