LuxaPost
LuxaPost is a glass fiber reinforced composite post and the perfect partner for LuxaCore. LuxaPost can be adhesively cemented with LuxaCore which can also be used for core build-up treatments in order to obtain a monoblock.
LuxaPost’s low flexural modulus, i.e. its degree of elasticity and rigidity, is almost equal to natural dentine, thus minimizing tension peaks in the system (post - cement - root) and the risk of root fractures.
LuxaPost's tapered form corresponds to that of the tooth root, and thus enables a preparation that is gentle on the tooth substance. The LuxaPost's high transparency also guarantees a perfect ethetic appearance.
The adhesive cementation ensures a secure and lasting bond while small retention grooves in the top section of the post further improve the mechanical retention.
