Icon receives Innovation Award 2009!
Germany’s dentists cast their votes for the most innovative products of 2009, and Icon® from DMG won by a large margin in the »Materials and instruments« category.
For the third time, the Innovation Award was offered in open competition by the dental journal DZW and the dental materials supplier Pluradent. Dentists voted for their favorites at this year’s dental trade shows in Germany as well as with ballots enclosed in the DZW.
The result: with almost 23 percent of all votes Icon® was announced the Most Innovative Product of 2009 in the »Materials and instruments« category.
Another great recognition of DMG’s innovative strength and the micro-invasive caries treatment with the »Drilling? No thanks!« campaign.
Study winners among post endodontic systems!
LuxaPost, LuxaCore Z-Dual and LuxaBond-Total Etch - All three products received best ratings in recently conducted comparison studies of post-endodontic product systems at the University of Texas Houston and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg:
Among all nine adhesive luting systems tested in combination with the composite post FRC Postec Plus the “LuxaCore Z + LuxaBond” system demonstrated the best bonding properties.
And among all ten tested glass fiber reinforced composite posts LuxaPost from DMG exhibited superior adhesion. Each post has been tested with RelyX Unicem, a competitive cement system.
And the complete post-endodontic DMG system “LuxaCore Z + LuxaPost + LuxaBond” also produced the best bonding results among all ten tested dual-curing product systems.
